Donald Trump on Tuesday called for a ban on “people who are not born in the United States” and urged a “complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United Kingdom.”
Speaking during a news conference in Manchester, New Hampshire, Trump said the U.K. is now a “hellhole” because of its “total destruction” of Muslims and called for the “complete shut down” of the country.
“We are a country of immigrants, we are a people that are very loyal, very loyal to their own country,” Trump said.
“And they have no right to be here.”
Trump has made no secret of his hostility to the Muslim faith and the people of the U.-K.
Trump has frequently compared Muslims to Nazis, suggesting that the country is a “total disaster” and that there is a threat of a “second Holocaust” if he is elected.
In a recent speech, Trump also referred to a Muslim student who “took a knife to her throat” in the name of Islam and said he wants to “destroy” Muslims because of the religion’s “horrendous” ideology.
