The owner of the Packers football team has died after a crash.
A plane crashed in the desert west of Los Angeles, killing all 25 people on board.
Ronald Jeremy, 86, of Painted Rock, California, died at a hospital in Painted Mountain, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The plane took off from Las Vegas and crashed at about 6:00pm local time, according to the Los Angels Times.
Jeremy owned the team for 20 years, and had been a huge supporter for many years.
“Ronald and I were on the road with our wife, who passed away, when she told me that she was going to get a flight to the West Coast for Christmas, but it didn’t work out,” his son-in-law, Jack, told the Los Angles Times.
“I had never heard of the plane before, so I asked my father-in‑law to help me find the registration number for the plane.”
Jack Jeremys wife, Betty Jerems father, Ronald Jeremys wife died in the crash, his son said.
He told the paper the plane had crashed in a desert area where the weather is not suitable for flying.
“The plane just went down,” Jack Jeremuys father told the newspaper.
“We just couldn’t believe it.
It’s a tragedy.”
